| Job Description |
Medical Support Solutions provides medical services to diplomatic missions and their deployed international personnel at Aden Adde International Airport, Mogadishu, Somalia.
A physician with Emergency Department/A&E/ER experience is required to provide medical services on a 24/7 basis. Emergency patient care, triage, medical and trauma resuscitation, bedside ultrasound. |
| Qualifications |
ESSENTIAL
Licensed physician with university degree in medicine and surgery;
At least 10 years' experience in Emergency Department, Accident and Emergency or Emergency Room;
ACLS, ACLS-EP, ATLS, ITLS, PHTLS;
Advanced airway management/RSI/AIME;
Trained and experienced in the use of bedside ultrasound/ FAST;
Management of complex critical illness and injury;
Experience in remote medicine, infectious diseases and tropical medicine;
Current registration with a professional body;
Fluent in English.
ADVANTAGEOUS
Emergency and trauma experience;
Aviation Medicine;
Remote site experience;
Military background;
Police clearance.
