**POSITION CONTINGENT ON CONTRACT AWARD**
We are in the process of bidding on a contract to provide medical services to deployed international personnel at Mogadishu International Airport in Somalia.
Anaesthetist required within Surgical Services team providing Emergency Surgical intervention including Damage Control Surgery to save life, sight and limbs; Manage and treat combat-related injuries such as gunshot wounds and injuries from IEDs; Manage and stabilise critically wounded patients and prepare them for evacuation.

| Qualifications |
ESSENTIAL
Licensed anaesthetist with university degree in Medicine and Surgery;
Postgraduate specialisation in Anaesthesia;
Nationally certified to practice as an Anaesthetist;
Minimum 3 years' post specialisation experience in the practice of Anaesthesia;
Current registration with a professional body;
Fluent in English.
ADVANTAGEOUS
Emergency, trauma, tropical medicine experience;
PHTLS, ACLS instructor;
Advanced cardiac and trauma life support;
Remote site experience;
Fluency in French.
